About this website

This site is a visual and verbal diary of my world. My world is filled with bikes, family and images. I like bikes and I like cameras. I like the way they go together. Joy for me comes when I can capture an image that shows the true feeling of riding. Images here are often experiments and explorations of color, tone and texture. Lake Superior

No words today, just an image I like from the shores of Lake Superior. I LOVE Lake Superior. This shot was taken a few weeks back in Grand Marais, MN. Taken with my pocket point & shoot, it is hand held against a rock at about 1/2 second. I was super bummed I forgot my pocket tripod.

It doesn't look like you need one. That pictures is ominous, fantastic.

Outstanding photo! I'd never know you didn't have your tripod, as it looks very still. Very cool...

Ari, Fonk and Alex - Thank you. Means a lot to me. I could have stood out there on those rocks well into the evening taking pictures if I could have. I never tire of looking out at that big body of water and listening to the waves crash into the rocks. Thanks again.
