This site is a visual and verbal diary of my world. My world is filled with bikes, family and images. I like bikes and I like cameras. I like the way they go together. Joy for me comes when I can capture an image that shows the true feeling of riding. Images here are often experiments and explorations of color, tone and texture. Home from Europe

It was an intense week of travel, work and adventure in Europe. Europe by bike is awesome and I'll write more about that later. It's holiday here and I'm going to spend time with my family. I will however share my favorite image from Europe. I took it the morning of my last day in Europe. I had ridden to Friedrichshafen before sunrise to catch the first ferry of the day so I could catch the train to Zurich and fly home.

This picture may not be that great to others, but for me it represents both the beauty of Lake Konstanz and peace I get when I return home.  

It is holiday here and just like the image, I plan to have a peaceful day and enjoy my family. Hope you do too.
