Neither are your ways my ways

10 Comments Yesterday was officially a crap tastic day. I don't want to rehash the days events. The day just did not work out as I had planned when I scheduled a day off. I also don't fully understand what happened later in the day. Then Isaiah 55:8 came to mind. I found peace and comfort.
I don't have much else to say today as I'm working on a few pretty important things. So I leave you with this. I've wanted to find a way to use this picture for a while and have been saving it for a Friday Photo, but you get it today. I took this picture following my last day at Eurobike. I was taking the ferry back to Konstanz, Germany and flying back home from Switzerland the next morning.

I can't begin to understand how the world works and why things happen the way they do. I can however find comfort knowing that there is peace even when there is uncertainty and misunderstanding.

Beautiful image and words. Thanks for posting - yesterday just wasn't a good day...
Thanks Eric. Yesterday was just one day and it will soon be forgotten. Thanks for the kind words on the image too. Means a lot coming from you.
Gnat: Again, I am sorry to hear of all the troubles, but I appreciate your outlook on troubled times and your, "Everything happens for a reason" comes to mind at times like this.
You are right too that we don't always understand why, we just need to have Faith.
God Bless you today!
Thanks GT. None of the stuff is that big of a deal. I'll have post over on the Salsa blog once I get my car out of the repair shop.... All is good though and in the end could work out better than expected.
That last comment is good to hear, and your attitude is the right one to have. That said, I'm sorry to hear you've had a tough go of it the past day or so. Keep your head up and everything will be good.
Talk to you soon,
MG
Hope everything works out. Sorry to hear of the troubles.
Sorry to hear that you had such a bad day. Sometimes i shake my head at the world and people and feel that i'm the only one that can see what we do sometimes effects others. Rest assure Gnat, that there are more of us that give a damn about others and the planet than you imagine :)
Sweet photo :) & I'm now part of the LX3 club too!

As an old biker friend of mine named Gypsy used to tell me, "Not to worry, just keep your chin in the wind and it'll all be cool" Beautiful pic once again BTW.
winter in the midwest is a beautiful thing.....if you're in tune with it
Yo, Sorry I was all caught up in my own storm to see this post. Hope things worked out for you. Take care man.
